In 1985 our founder, Reid Buckley, established The Buckley School for Public Speaking to help address the low levels of literacy among American executives, while empowering future leaders with competency in all areas of communication.

Independent of the Buckley Foundation, the school has trained hundreds of professionals to date in the skill of public speaking and articulating opinions and continues to share its principles with executives from a variety of backgrounds and industries. Graduates emerge from the program as scholars, writers and public speakers with a sharp understanding and ability to communicate with poise.

As an exemplary institution promoting our shared values and committed to academic excellence, The Buckley School for Public Speaking educates many of the scholarship recipients of the Foundation.
